New additions reinforce the destination’s continued evolution in its twentieth year
Muscat, September 2026 – Al Mouj Muscat continues to strengthen its position as one of the Sultanate’s leading lifestyle destinations with the introduction of a series of new wellness, leisure, retail and dining experiences across its precincts. The latest additions reflect its continued evolution as it marks 20 Years of Distinction this year, reinforcing the vision that has shaped Al Mouj Muscat into one of Oman’s most vibrant integrated developments.
Over the past two decades, Al Mouj Muscat has grown into a destination where residential, hospitality, retail and leisure experiences come together to create a connected community. The destination now brings together 98 retail units and welcomes four million visitors a year. The latest additions build on that legacy, reflecting evolving lifestyle preferences while reinforcing the destination’s long-term vision for integrated waterfront living.

The destination’s growing wellness offering now includes the opening of RISTO MMA & Fitness and Stretch & Go at Al Mouj Walk Mall, expanding opportunities for health, fitness and active living. They join The Wellness Centre, an established part of Al Mouj Muscat’s health and wellbeing offering. At Liwan, Le Chic has opened a new ladies-only salon, complementing its existing branch at Kempinski Hotel Muscat and broadening the destination’s personal care offering.
Across Marsa Plaza and the wider destination, the retail and dining mix continues to diversify. PappaRoti Oman has opened its newest café, while Al Meera has introduced a new store overlooking the marina, bringing fresh produce, groceries and everyday essentials closer to the community. New additions also include July Café, Woodland and Rosso, alongside Finland Optical Center and a new branch of MOLA MOLA Diving Center. Together, they add to the everyday services, dining choices and specialist experiences available across Al Mouj Muscat, with further openings set to join the destination in the months ahead.
Alongside this growing mix of places to shop, dine and spend time together, Al Mouj Muscat continues to invest in recreational spaces dedicated to the residents who call the community home. These facilities have expanded with the opening of the new Al Mouj Community Tennis Courts, complementing the community’s existing padel and basketball courts, beach volleyball court, 27 kilometres of running and cycling trails, 17 parks, 14 swimming pools, eight play areas and more than 466,000 square metres of green space. Together, these spaces encourage residents to stay active, spend time outdoors and connect with their neighbours as part of everyday life at Al Mouj Muscat.
