Al Mouj Muscat connects with world’s top cycling talents

MUSCAT – February 19, 2017: Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s lifestyle destination, welcomed the world’s top cycling talent at its premises during the recently concluded Tour of Oman race that was organised as part of the annual Muscat Festival festivities.

The 6th stage of the Tour of Oman was kicked off at The Walk in Al Mouj Muscat. The six-day race started on February 14 at Al Sawadi and concluded on February 19 at Muttrah corniche. In between, cyclists raced in different parts of Oman including Jabal Akhdar, Nakhal and Yiti among other places.

On to its eighth edition, Tour of Oman has managed to attract the world's top cyclists and teams, and has become one of the most awaited races across the world. Big names from the world of cycling have always participated in the tour and it may be recalled that in 2013 the winner of the Tour of Oman, Chris Froome, went on to win the Tour de France.
